Comstock Village charges a fee of $200.00 to inspect property that is being sold to ensure the property complies with the Comstock Village Covenants at the time of sale.  The fee was approved by the Board of Directors and covers the cost of having a director view the property and report any discrepancies to the Comstock Village administrator who uses that information to prepare correspondence for the seller and/or buyer’s agent.  If an inspection is not requested, the buyer assumes responsibility for all covenant violations that exist at the time of sale.

On February 15, 2023, the CVHA Board approved the $200 amount of the Status Letter fee based on the same rate HOA's in the surrounding area are charging for the fee.
